ABOUT THE CLUB

Fitness, fellowship and the development of tennis.

BPA Tennis Club is a social tennis club established by staff of the Bui Power Authority (BPA), bringing together staff members and tennis enthusiasts within and around the BPA community.

The club provides a friendly and inclusive environment where members can stay fit, develop their tennis skills and build lasting friendships through the sport.

Whether you are a beginner picking up a racket for the first time, an experienced player looking to sharpen your game, or simply someone seeking an enjoyable way to stay active, BPA Tennis Club welcomes you.

Through regular training, fitness and conditioning sessions, social games and competitive activities, the club is committed to promoting fitness, fellowship and the continued development of tennis.

Dominic Amevor

Dominic joins BPA Tennis Club with extensive coaching experience dating from November 2009. He brings practical experience in tennis coaching, player development and physical conditioning.

BPA Tennis Club recently honoured its retired coach, WO1 Emmanuel Adjetey, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the formation, growth and development of the club.

A LEGACY OF SERVICE

WO1 Emmanuel Adjetey

WO1 Emmanuel Adjetey played a foundational role in BPA Tennis Club. He formed the club, trained its members and helped establish the culture of tennis, fitness and fellowship that continues today.

His contribution also extended to the development of the club's ball boy groups, helping to create opportunities for young people to learn, participate and grow through tennis.

The club is proud to recognise his dedication, mentorship and lasting impact on the BPA tennis community.

THE HONOURING EVENT

A celebration of service and impact.

The event brought together members of the tennis community and distinguished guests to celebrate Coach Adjetey's contribution to tennis and to BPA Tennis Club.

In attendance were the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Charles Puopauing Esq., and the President of the Ghana Tennis Federation, alongside club members and friends of the sport.

The presentation of the citation recognised Coach Adjetey's years of service, mentorship, player development and his commitment to growing tennis and supporting young people.
